Responsibilities and Experience:
Michael Potter is responsible for the overall operation of RMA. Together with the other members of the management team, Michael formulates specific investment strategies and implements those strategies on behalf of RMA's investors. As part of his responsibilities, Michael serves on the investment committee.

Michael has over 20 years of experience in commercial real estate, with a background in real estate investment, portfolio management and law. He has represented clients and investors in the acquisition and disposition of real property with an aggregate value of over $2 billion.

Prior to forming RMA, Michael was a Co-Managing Director and Principal of Metropolitan Real Estate Advisors and a Principal of Stonegate Partners. Metropolitan is a private investment firm that provides real estate investment and advisory services to high net worth individuals and families. Stonegate is a real estate advisory firm that provides investment and asset management services to Fortune 100 Companies.

From 1990 to 2000, Michael was a Partner at the San Francisco law firm of Brobeck Phleger & Harrison LLP. At Brobeck, Michael specialized in real estate finance, acquisitions, dispositions, leasing and development, with an emphasis on real estate development and investment.

Michael is a member of the California State Bar and a California real estate broker.

Education:
Michael earned a B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley. Michael also holds a J.D. from the University of Southern California Law School, where he was an editor of the Southern California Law Review.
